i wana power a d-2 mag i need 1000rms. i think u get a anl 100 amp+ fuse holder with the newer one. im not sure about the silver case one. i heard these amps get warm-hot at one ohm, for another 50.00 am i better off looking at another amp? i was thinking of a hifonics 1200d for around 189.00. 30.00 more dollers hmmm

@ 1 ohm they are completely fine, as long as they aren't seeing low voltage constantly and aren't confined to a small space(as is the case w/ basically any amp).

But for that woofer i wouldn't run anymore than 1k-1200w at the most daily, so you'd have to dial the gains back to not overpower that sub.
