Is there a big diff between 17 RMS and 22RMS??

Hey guys im thinking about the jvc s680 but its only 17 rms vs every other company that has 22rms for this price range...is 5 w rms a big diff? and is jvc anygood thnaks!

If it's motorized JVC are notorious for breaking down.

What does motorized mean? it has a rotary vol knob i think. Other than this looking at one of those kenwood decks ~150 but they are alot more expensive. The pioneers at this price range is to plain, and every1 says aiwa is not that good..so what other choices do i have at this price range 100-160? thanks

well, i like my pioneer hu(course i have a p720 premier hu which is 2.5 years old, but it still has the organic el and everything) YOu might be able to get a 6400 pretty cheap if you shop around, but other than that, id recommend a kenwood hu. Jvc just sucks!!!!

you know what, the JVC is not all htat bad... it wont hold up in a high level system, but if all you are looking for is an upgrade from your stock deck, it will do dfine for you.

my firend just bought a JVC KD-S580 like 2 weeks ago.... it works but i like my deck way better pioneer deh-1300 (plain yes but very functional) i've had it for like a year with no problem what soever. the high end jvc stuff might be alright but i wouldn't buy their entry level stuff when you could get pioneer or clarion ... just my opinion though it's your money..
