Is the Rockford p6001 that much better than the p3001

Hello. I was hoping somebody could help me out. I am getting my stereo system installed on Wednesday. I have 2 12" Alpine Type R's 2ohm in a duel port box. And i was gonna buy the Rockford p3001 for 320$ at my local stereo shop. And the Rockford p6001 is 600$. So my question is, since im very tight with money i was wondering is there is a significant difference between the p3001 and p6001 to run my subs. Is it that much better, because i dont wanna spend the extra money but if the p3001 will sound like crap do u recommend me buying the p6001?

why spend 600 bucks on a 600 watt amp? there are so many amps out there that are better for the money..plus its prob sellin retail so that is the most you'd be paying anywhere...tell us the subs and i'll(we) help u find a amp for a great price
