Honestly, db-r admitted to the amp not putting out the power it should have and had a small problem, so i think ronin had the right to get a refund, and unless hes holding out, i dont see anything where he caused trouble to DB-r...

The fact is, that amp shouldve been working 100% when it got to ronin and db-r shouldve never sent it out with a small problem, BUT i doubt thats how it went down, as shipping can do things to sae1200s..i know first hand.

I dont think anyone is at fault really. Too many variables, but i think both parties are within reason.

yeah thats a jerk move...chris has always been busy repairing amps and probably had a bad day....other factors could have come to play but ronin should have just done nothing...

if i understand correctly...if i get refunded and the guy tells me to not buy from him again...i would gladly accept cuz i probably got a faulty product...and then get something else and get on with my life...not waste time posting athread

Unless the OP is not showing all the emails or hiding something i don't see a reason for him to tell the guy not to do business with him again. Seems like the fact that the guy wanted a refund instead of warranty service touched him the wrong way. There's plenty of guys who would have done the same thing the OP did on this forum and some of them are probably the ones who are bashing the OP.

If i read right, from the OP side of the story

he bought a amp

amp blew/was faulty

he wanted a refund not warranty service

DB-R says that they only refund under certain circumstances,

OP sends in the amp

DB-R says something was acutally wrong, minor or not

DB-R refunds the guy (I dont see why he would if the amp had not had an issue before hand)

DB-R sends refund and tells him not to do business with him again.
