Hello,
Do you think that is a lot of power to drive a ID12 ???
The ID12 is rated at 400RMS but I want to know something...
Can I just adjust the amplifier gain to ~370RMS with a RMS multimeter? Is OK or I'm wrong ? Is my Sub running a risk ?
Here are the Amp Specs
PPI D1000/1
1000W Class D Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier
RMS Power Rating:
4 ohms: 175 watts x 1 chan.
2 ohms: 275 watts x 1 chan.
1 ohm: 500 watts x 1 chan.
AP-IV protection circuitry
QBASS bass boost
High voltage input capability
HP/LP/Full 24 dB/oct Crossover
CEA-2006 Compliant
1 ohm stable - perfect for extreme SQL/SPL applications
Frequency response: 20 Hz - 200 Hz
Damping factor: >300
Fully-regulated PWM design for guaranteed power delivery
Externally bridgeable in pairs for extreme power applications
Q BASS™ Plus Remote function
Gold plated RCA input and output connectors
PowerLock speaker and power wire connectors
Triple Darlington output stage
Dimentions (L x W x H): 12-3/8" x 10-1/4" x 2-5/8"
Thanks
