Is my amp BLOWN? What is wrong? PICS!

Was hooking up my comps today and when I went to test to make sure everything was good for the left comp, I rehooked my amp up and nothing.

I did bump the ground on the power which sparked like usual, but no blown fuses or anything. Hook the rest up and when I turn my car on the amp doesnt even turn on. It is getting power into the amp, but nothing out. Power light or even the Protection light does not come one.

cant tell by the pics, but touching + and - could damage the amp without blowing fuses.

check your remote line

If your power/remote/ground are good, and you are getting nothing, chances are it's dead.

IT's receiving power but the amp isn't on.... isn't that impossible?

I'd sure like to know how that is happening.

check the first diode on the remote turn on section of the motherboard for a value.

yes the amp is taking in 14v(with car on) 12v(off) and nothing coming on....even when I hooked up the power/ground it sparked like there is still power, and opening the amp almost immediately I smelt nothing.

Diode seems to be good and the board seems flawless...sorry about bad pics

But how do you know the amp is "taking in" power?

You better disconnect it and have is serviced before something odd happens because it sounds like something odd is happening now.

Threw my DMM on the amp while hooked up and thats what it read

I didnt really think this would have caused anything too too bad
