Is it worth the time/money? (Bigger box, diff port direction, etc)

Alright, well my car is a 93 Lexus. Car has sealed trunk, and very hard to get cabin loud. I managed to remove some stuff and now the hole where my armrest is open from the trunk, got it a bit louder.

Currently I have:

2 12" Pioneer Premier 3004's

3.5 Cubic Feet Box

Tuned to 35hz

Single slot port firing toward trunk

Subs are firing toward trunk

Basically, what Im asking is it worth it to build a new box like:

2 12" Pioneer Premier 3004's

4.0 Cubic Feet Box (Bigger box to get it a little louder

Tuned to 32hz (Miss some notes on 35, want to pick em up so im lowering it)

Subwoofers facing toward trunk

**Port built similar to the space from armrest. I'd push box ALL the way back and build a port to fire DIRECTLY into the cabin**

Is it worth the money and time to do this? Or am doing alot of work for really no gain? Thanks
