I was given a Kicker L5 12 that was blown. By lookin @ it the plastic attachments between the cone and the sub is broken at all the points. Ive read some dudes be recondition some subs. Is it worth tryin to fix this? Normally I would just buy another sub but its wifey's and she aint pressed for da low note.

if the sub is in decent lookin condition you can buy one off the internet that is warranteed and say it came like that and have them send you a new one, and you send back the "broke" one, so you now have 2 for the price of 1

you a funny guy... That is some I would do tho hahaha. I dont two tho..plus If I bought another one I would prob get somethin different. This dude gave me da sub plus da box dat was built for it..so it was thought.

if the sub coils still are in good shape and aint blown or scratching you can reglue where it came apart.

If the coil is messed up only fix, send it to kicker after you call them for RA and get the price for an "upgrade/update" basicly send in your old one with some money and get a brand new sub.

yeah Honestly I would sell it. It looks brand new..9.8 out of 10. If you shoot me ur email Ill send you some pics......So I would just contact Kicker and send it to 'em and poof I get another one huh? I guess depends on how much it would cost to update it...might not be even orth it

DAMMM ALCOHOL IS A HELL OF A DRUG!! I cant believe I sent that hahahaha my bad. I meant to say I really just want one not two..hehe. It was just a thought meaning if I can get this one fixed for less the price of a new one. Question is....is it worth it?
