I'm thinking of selling my 12" L7s and getting 2 12" AQ HDC3s would I notice a difference? The amp I'm using is a Sundown SAE 1200D

i wouldn't do hd3c's unless you planned to up the power, most people are running 1500+ per hd3c, now if you did 2 sdc2.5's then i would say yes

Im not sure, feeding the aq's only 600w each....

you need more power for the AQ's

SDC's off 1200watts would be nice. Much better SQ then the Kickers and should kill on the lows.
