i like the amp i have now so i was thinking of getting the same series of amp. i would get one of the xx thors a guy on here had for sale and one of those CnD batteries. not sure yet though its already pretty loud to me guess it depends on if i can sell my amp.

I would say no its not worth it. in a perfect world theory, thats only a 1.5db gain, which isnt really audible by ear.

And you say your amp is underrated, so even less then that

I wouldnt do it if its just a daily driver, if youre looking to compete and numbers mater, go for it

i dont compete so guess that answers my question.

Going from 2k to 3k is a waste. I've seen many friends do it after being sold some line of bullshіt by the local car audio shop and I have yet to hear one come back and tell me about the major difference it made. Unless one is going for 2x, or greater than 2x, the power they are currently running, the difference is usually inaudible.

Who, me? Because I've gone from 1000w to 1500w on a single 10'' and noticed a big difference. But I didn't meter it, just to my ear.
