I don't have any experience with the CVRs, except that I know someone who did a CVR to SSD swap and loved it.

I ran Type Rs (albeit in a prefab box with not enough power) and didn't hate them. I was going to buy another set of Type Rs and build the right box and give them the power they wanted... but I settled on SSDs because I want to support Fi.

it would be really stupid to put 1600 watts to 2 cvrs when there rms is 400rms each, it really depends on what youre looking for, if you wanna go spl loud with hardly any sq, then go with the cvrs and prolly end up blowing them with so much power, but if youre actually lookin for some sq then get the R's, they will actually be able to able to take the extra power... IMO i dont think you have any room to argue with billabong about who has more experience and knowledge, considering he was trying to help you until you b*tched at him for no apparent reason....

i was thinking of fi audio too

its nice to actaully have something made in the usa for once

but still too much for me at this point so must find cheaper alternative that will bump for at least a year and be loud at it

if i ever had money to blow..id get 4 cvr 12's and a 1200.1 in a sealed box..1-1.25 each sealed. i heard one before, totally blew me away for the equip.

2 kicker cvrs $130-$150. 1 Fi ssd 10 $179.

Kicker = 600w together

Fi = 800w alone

ok, in all seriousness. it seems like you have the intelligence level of a mentally challenged 4 year old.

so i'd say invest in some funky pups or xplodes as mentioned before. that way when you blow them, it'll be cheap to replace them.
