Is it worth it to get the new setup?

I have two Polk Audio MM1040 10" subs powered by an AQ1200D. Its not a bad setup but i wish it hit harder. I guess i dont really need it to hit harder their fine for music and its my daily driver.

But would it be worth losing a little bit of money from what i paid for the polks and going to probably

D12D2 V.3 - Image Dynamics 12" Subwoofers ?

i know being 12s more cone size their going to hit harder and being image dynamics they should sound great, but i paid like $240 for the polks, i wont even see $200 for them now and their only 6 months old

u can save room and get my 10s...sonance v2's...they have great sq and real good spl in small boxes...u dont need 12's to have more spl...thor is the perfect example of that

Yeah but thor has DC level 5 10's and 14k watts.. Big difference there...

i new sum1 was gonna point that out...lol...its just the point that he has 10s...look at the sa-8 testing...theyre doing 150s with 2 8" subs on 3500w i think it was

Yeah you have a valid point just saying it's a tad different with this guy..

ya, i did realize it is day and night between them, but they still are 10s...lol...and hell yes those 8s are nice...granted, it wasnt a 150 on music its still nice

but how much do the sa-8 costs? i could go with several different brands of 10s that hit way harder than my polks, but what little research i did, their expensive.

just like DD everyone on here talks about them, but i called to see how much for 1 8" sub he said like 200$ for 1... not worth it unless i was doing competitions and could win $

sa-8 are $129 plus ship...they are great little woofers but havnt seen ANYTHING about them on music yet...just on test tones
