ok, im getting this wierd vibration noise from my sub. ive checked every possible thing except the HU ground. its only at high levels now, is it possible it could be damaged. i cant hear it at low levels only when i turn it up alot.

it sounds like something vibrating about in the truck. but i put my ear and it is clearly from the cone. also, my box is sealed and, 1 cubic foot.

well if it sounds fine with the sub then it wouldnt be anything wrong with the sub. it'd just be something with your car/truck.

sorry misread it...well from my understanding Kicker's blow very easily. I do not have any experience from it but I've heard from many people that if you play the L7's or L5's they will blow easily if played very loud constantly. It may be distorting, which is very possible. Just don't play it as loud or turn your amp down.

I think my amp has started to clip from the abuse

That is likely your problem. Mine sounds perfect in 1.8, bad in 1.1, kind of bad in 2.2

but were you getting a weird vibrating noise? just because a box is to small could it be that?
