For RCAs to be bad. my system sparked and now there is this horrible alt whine through my components and subwoofer. but where the back speakers that are powered by the head unit are perfectly fine. what could be the cause of this? i just replaced the grounds to a 8 gauge leading to a Distro block with 1/0 gauge leading it to the chassis.

sure. You could have hit an rca with a screw or even broke the protective sheathing. Either can give a hell of a whine.

buy new rcas
