Is it possible?

A roomate of mine and myself got into an arguement today about amplifiers and wiring them and possibilities. Here is the situation:

Two 12" Type R's

Ported Dual Box

Now, is it possible to use two amplifiers (1 for each sub)?

Subs are 4ohm

Amps for the sake of arguement were some crappy Sony Xplod XM-3001SXD

They are 1000 watts, 600x1 @4ohm (bridged)

Now, is it possible to wire 1 amp to 1 sub and the other amp to the other sub? yes or nO?
