is it possible to do a software update on older flip up kenwood?

I have a Kenwood kvt-717 and it has all the same features as a newer one being it is a 06 model but it is just dated. If its possible let me know! I just want that newer software on it

No, if there's no update for your model on the Kenwood website than it can't be done.
