Is it possible to connect a 12" eclipse aluminum dvc sub wired in parallel to a 2 channel rockford 900 watt amp safely.

depends on teh impedance of the sub, and the stability of the amplifier. which amp, and i'll assume dual 4 coils?

I'm about 100% sure its a PUNCH 301S ..........and yes the voice coils are 4 each

it is not rated at 2 ohm bridged. I wouldn't bridge it. I wouldn't even use that amp. just a bad choice. get a different amp,s omething that'll put out full power at 2 ohms mono (x1)

while i got some help......what mono amp do you think would power this sub the way its meant to be powered.

how much do you have to spend?

what kind of box?

sealed box....and though I'm looking to upgrade soon I can probably pull a few strings and come up with a good $300 to $900 in the next few weeks without killing myself with overtime.

you'r options are pretty open then.

anything that produces what, 5-700 watts at 2 ohms into one channel is going to do you well... look for RMS watts.
