Is it just me or maxima's are hard to get loud?

There is a HUGE difference in the back seat and the front seat... just wanted to know if anyone with a maxima feel the same!

Seems like the lows are lot better in the front seats, and in the back seats, 45hz and up is LOT louder... obviously because it's closer to the sub but, it's like a MAJOR difference, idk if it's normal..

ive had 3 cars and every car i had a different setup but it was always like how you mentioned above, in the front seat the low notes seemed deeper and louder but when in the back seat anything over like 45hz seemed louder and stronger...

my sister has a stock maxima... i like to drive it for fun haha

but yeah the bass is alot louder in the back seat.. mostly because the so called woofer is right behind your head

i used test tones and it started getting loud at like 40-45... everythign below that... i could hear the mechanical movement of the woofer.. but barely the signal/htz

.. she always has it at like -3 haha

uhhh...fold the rear seats down... and/or port the rear deck.... either way that rear deck needs seroius dampening if you wish to get louder without rattles.

my rear seat doesnt fold:crap:

i only have an opening in the middle (handrest)

I thought of something similar but is pretty complicated;

what if I put 2 8" or 4 6.5" on the rear deck and port will be the opening in the middle, only thing is i dont know if it would be worth it ...

just fold down the armrest, whenever i needed my rear seats i just folded down my armrest and i would be a slight diffrence than the seats folded down

I found that the new Maximas with fold down seats are very easy to get descently loud. I have yet to put a system in one that has not impressed me and that has been everything from 15" D9s to 10" Sonys. But, they seem to reverberate particular frequencies much better than others.

well the setups i built for maximas has done atleast 145db's on the tl mic

and they were all bandpass boxes

i have pics of one of the setups i did for 2mojo 12's and a memphis 1k on each

Its not really Maximas but 4th gens in general...I have one as well and it is hard to get loud then other trunk cars for some reason. Plus the **** seat doesnt fold. Deaded the HELL out of your trunk, the trunk lid sucks on these cars...
