Is it completely useless??

I was riding down the road listening to music as normal when i smelled an awful smell, almost like burning rubber. When the song ended and switched tracks the bass wounldnt play.I was using a rockford fosgate p3002 refurb. powering a p2 rockford. It's a little over a month old. I lost my receit so im guessing theres no way to get the warranty to fix it. Should i just scrap it and get a different amp.. or is there anyway i could get this one rebuilt, again? Thanks for your help.

If it is a refurb, there should be some sort of factory warrenty on it, some are 30 days while others are 90.. I would contact the place that you bought it and find out about a warrenty.

They warranty from the store is 30 days, while the factory has a 90 day warranty. Do you think they would still honor the warranty even tho i dont have proof of purchase?

You must have SOME form of purchase... They had to provide you with something to validate the warrenty, if you dont have these than I would still contact the company for a copy at least.
