I have a Deka intimidator coming in the mail, the group 31 one, which is an AGM battery, and thought if it is ok to have to hooked up to my sealed lead acid under the hood battery in parallel, because I heard that there can be negative effects, due to the fact that one is AGM and the others conventional. Is this true????

It can have negative effects such as draining one battery faster or shortening the life of the batteries but you should be ok.

Ideally you would have two of the same batteries, the same age but that just isnt feasible for some people.
