Is DC power always slow to ship?

I ordered my 270xp last thursday. It showed in stock but still not shipped.Nate had my 200 amp to me in a week
I think that means the parts to build it were in stock. They usually don't build until it's ordered. Then they will test it before packaging and sending it out.

I've read of people waiting months for DC alts. There was one guy that waited like 2 years for some alts and a bracket. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I dont know if he ever even got them...

I ordered dual alt kit with alt and they said 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I called and they said will be sending it out and they didn't ship til 5 weeks and it came damaged because it wasn't packed right but I called and stan shipped out another one to me while I ship back the damaged one but the second one got damaged too but only the plastic around the power terminal so I couldn't wait to send another one and just installed it. But yea there machine that pavane it only secure it from top and bottom but not the side. (stan was a big help he fast ship the second one. But they need a better packaging method.
