Is Audioque all that great?..

Plain and simple i current own an RE audio SX12, and love it, however ive read up on the HDC series of AQ a bit, and they seem to be really great subs. However are they? the 12" in particularily.

I want a new setup, something different. ive been debating on getting an HDC(4) when they release them, and an AQ 2200. but is there better for the money?

im currently running my RE SX of an AP 3k, only one channel to the subs, empty channel yet, for I CANT FIND ANOTHER RE SX12.. D2

AQ is awesome. VERY tough to beat for the money, IMO.

yeah man they are clean as hell,im planning on walling my silverado

with 6 aq hdc3 15s

i got 3 so far,i just need 3 more,

i had their aq3500d.1s strapped in my malibu and they were sending some really heavy power.

good stuff man. i also have owned the aq1200,beefy little amp and the aq2200,beefy amp as well

i wouldnt mind running all aq really,

i just dont know about their components doe.i havent herd much reviews for them

I used to love their american made products, those were solid. I haven't been much of a fan ever since they went to the chinese crap, with close to the same pricing to boot.

awsome.... loudest sub set up for spl ive had so far. my team friend/team pres had 15 hdc3 take 2 sundown saz-2000d's strapped running 14.6volts(about 4500watts) constant (No Burp) @ 31hz and did not clip nor bottom out sub. not bad for a 2000watt max sub. im running 2400 to mine daily

I've had an SDC2.5 15" for the past two years-ish and it's been great. Very clean sounding and well built. It took 870wrms daily and performed great, probably could've taken even more power

also, amps are a go, thanks.

now what about their subs? if not an HDC (3 or 4),

then what sub would be better for the 250-300ish range price. im either going to 2 12s, or a 15" with a nice big box. im limited to space in my 2000 celica, but i can do with what i got.

Ive had 2 HDC3 10"s, 1 HDC3 18", 1 AQ3500, and a 1200D now. Love them. Cant beat them for the money.

Check the dbdrag website for shows in your area as you should be able to hear some HDC's in person. There's a big show in Elgin, IL on June 5th and there will be plenty of AQ/DD sets up there since most of Team DOA is going.

I'm near Six Flags so if you ever get down that way let me know and you can hear my AQ set up and see what you think. That way your ears can decide if it's the sound you want and they're loud enough.

Very solid subs for the $$$ and will take a lot of abuse...

2 12" SDC's off a 1200 would be a nice set up, especially with stock electrical. I run that set up in my daily ride...
