Is anyone in the mood to help me build a ported box for 2 8" subs?

After a few weeks of research, I think i have all the stuff i need for my install except for a box.

I'll be running 2 Sundown SA-8 Subs powered by a SAE-1200D v2.

Basically, i need a cut list and maybe some diagrams for a 1.75cf ported box tuned to 35hz. The subs will be in my daily driver, and i prefer for the setup to be tuned towards SQ rather than SPL. If anyone recommends a different volume or a different hz value to tune to, i'm open to suggestions.

Also, I want to build up a checklist so i make sure i get all i need from Home Depot. So far, this is what i've gathered from a crutchfield article:

Jigsaw

Electric drill with bits for pre-drilling screw holes and driving screws

3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard)

2" drywall screws

Panhead sheet metal screws (1/2" and 3/4")

Carpenter's glue

Silicon caulk

Non-hardening rope caulk

Speaker terminal cup (what is this?)

is there anything im missing?

Terminal cup is the plastic cup that allows you to pass your speaker wire through the wall of your box.

I would add a finish such as carpet or paint to the list.

35hz sounds great.

what are the dimensions you have to work with? ill get you a cutsheet and throw together a basic design

I have a 16 cf trunk,

the box can be a max of 20 inch tall, 36 inch wide, 36 inch deep. But, i dont think you'll need to use THAT much space for 2 8" subs

Sundown recommends .6 - 1 CF per sub. I was thinking 1.75 for two.

tuning wise, Sundown recommends 30-40hz. I thought 35 for the middle of the road.

I really do appreciate the help. Im going out to home depot tomorrow to buy the supplies
