Is an AudioQue 2200D to much power for 2 12" kicker cvx dual 2 ohm subs.

I've also had suggestions for the American Bass 3000d.

I would like to give the subs a 2 ohm load. I want to try and stay away from wiring them to one ohm.

@ 2 ohms it would be fine, but I think you could save more money going with a smaller amp and wiring down to 1 ohm. Do you already have the subs?

yea there both dual 2 ohms so he is going to wire them together at 2 ohm i told him 2 buy a solid audio f2500d bnib for 350 shipped with a solid audio 7 band eq bnib, all for 350, at 2 ohms it runs 1600rms, its the same amp as that american bass amp.
