Is an amp necessary for my setup?

I have a Jeep Wrangler with an in-seat sub box I built for the rear seat. I also have an Alpine 9831 HU. Is it worth putting a 4 channel amp on my dash and sound bar speakers with an rms output of only 18 watts per channel? Will it sound better with an amp or just use the HU? I just good sound nothing crazy here. Thanks guys
