Unboxing a 320 Amp Iraggi Alternator - YouTube

21dg2z4.jpg

I have been running 1 380 amp alternator from Iraggi for over 6 months. ZERO. Absolutely no issues. Current alternator kept my voltage at 13.5 on music. I am adding a Audison amp. And wanted to add another alternator.

I contacted mechman, dc power, singer, and excessive amperage about sending them my cars Alternator bracket. Which has my cars tensioner on it and it is where the A/C mounts to. Dc power, singer, and EA said that they can't help me. Mechman said they could sell me a universal 220amp alternator that I can play with.

I sent my bracket to Iraggi. Dominick grabbed a Ford casing. And it mounted like factory to my A/C mounts. So no need for anything custom. And he added a idler pulley.

I've had an excellent experience with Iraggi. There customer service even responded faster than the others. Mechman emailed me back about once a day. Iraggi on facebook replies easily within a 1-3 hours.

Not trying to convince or bash anyone or any companies. Just saying. If I need anymore alternators. I know who I am going too.

Wow I was looking in your sig and you have one hell of a setup. Man I would love to get a demo from u sometime. I am nothing but impressed. U picked great audio equipment to run and def not cheap. That dual alt setup u got is wicked nasty. Nothen but love for that setup.

......ok I'm done drooling now.

I really do appreciate that. It feels like you don't get a lot of love unless your busting windshields around here.

Well. I wish I could brag. But it isn't done yet. I own all the equipment listed in my signature. It's just not installed yet. I will be getting it all in once the salt leaves the road and I can drive my other car, and park this one.

If I had to point out any flaws. It would be the Daytons. But I started running low on funds because my fiance was in college and I promised I would help her.

The exile I overpaid for because I am an idiot. And USPS lost my 1st audison and I had to buy a new one to replace it.

I am a little worried that my 100hp 4cyl will struggle. But we'll see when we get there.

Dude. You live in Illinois. Hit up keep_hope_alive. That's the guy to get a demo from. He has spent over 100hours testing speaker location for the perfect sound. And his build logs are INSANE high quality. He spends a lot of time on it.

Wow two alternators is very serious! I too would live to hear this when all assembled. Obviously I'm pretty far away so please don't rush to get it together.. Lol

It'll be something different too. It's in a volkswagen jetta MK2

Well its going be awhile before it's all done. I was going take my car to a shop in spring to have the front door speakers mounted in pods and such and a place to put the audison.

But. I just measured the space between my Bracket and the radiator. And it is a close car. There is about a 1/2 to 1" clearance. And I am going to have to get the radiator hose out of my way.

so there are some obstacles that I have to overcome. I am 22. I am not a fabricator, and am not some expert. But I know with help I can get this done. It may take a while though. I plan on starting as soon as I can drive my other guy. First thing first. Will be to pull the motor.

My friend came up with a great idea. My car currently has an A/C radiator. It is 6 inches wider than a Non A/C radiator. That might give me the space I need without have to hack up alt or bracket!

ive heard a lot of good things out of irragi, im just partial to ohio generator, for the same reasons you are to irragi, they were the only ones that said they could do what i asked. and they helped me out alot in the fitting process. Its not easy to get 320 amps under the hood of a tiburon.

I bet not. I only posted this because so many people hate on him. I am just trying to show that things have changed.

Throw up a picture of your alternator in there.

ill have to take one today when i get home, its a Chrysler case that has been cut down. then the factory tension adjust gets flipped around the other direction to keep enough pressure on the belt, its a bit crazy but it all works.
crazy means innovative. That is a good thing

yep, pretty much, since i got it done ive come up with a better way to mount it, but that involves pulling the top bracket, cutting the bottom part and cutting a new slot for the bolt for the adjuster to slide in, but i need to get a new adjuster block and a shorter belt for it, i also need to find a stronger belt, the factory one does not like the stress that the big alt puts on it.
