I recently had my first experience with a 32 gig ipod touch connected to my pioneer touch screen and was surprised of great it worked does anybody know how i can get a constant internet connection for this it seems to be a cheaper alternative than putting together a whole carputer

Replace it with an iPhone? That would free you from the need to be near a WiFi hotspot.
