iPod touch problems.....pink matrix looking lines, won't turn on HELP!!!!

My ipod touch 8gb 2nd gen wont turn on, the screen looks distorted and pink lines show up.....

outside it looks perfect, not dents or cracks or anything

anyone know how to fix this? I ve tryed google they say to reboot it or w/e but that doesnt work.
