Ipod to cd changer port on HU

i am looking for a cable to connect my ipod to my cd changer port on a kenwood headunit. i have found one on ebay but it says it wont let you control the ipod from the headunit. i have heard of cables letting you control it with the cd changer controls, but i cant remember where i saw it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

i am not sure if kenwood has that out yet, and if they do it is probably onle on new models. alpine and eclipse, maybe pioneer has units that let you control the ipod from them. i use my ipod on my alpine with the aux in, and i like it that way, same with my eclipse. i think its just easier to control song selection and volume all from one place.

im already using my aux for the amp. could i possibly use a Y adapter for aux in for the ipod and everything still work the same?
if you are thinking of the same thing i am, no, it doesnt work that way. my aux in is being used through my cd changer port.
