ipod question

you gotta download a dvd ripper that rips them to your computer then you gotta get a program that converts the file to Mpeg4 which is the format supported my Ipod. Videora works great for converting. It takes a while to convert it but its a good program

I rip my dvd, actual store bought ones, straight to my computer and convert them to mp4. ive never bothered with p2p, quality is possibly bad, ya dont kno if your gettin some bootleg or a good one

it's a valid point. i have gotten some good ones off p2p, but i've gotten some real crap as well. i usually download 2 or 3 of the same movie at once to up the possibility of getting something decent.

I've had some P2P movies that I put on my ipod, it looks pretty good. Keep in mind this is like 1.4gig for like a 2 hour movie.

Thing that sux about the ipod I dont think the read buffer is big enough or something, if u have a really big file the video will sometimes play outta sync with the sound.
