IPOD mostly?

well I am definitely into sound quality but I am by no means a competitor. With that being said I listen to my music on my car stereo 95% of the time with the IPOD. I know most will say no true SQ guy would and that the ipod lacks quality but with the convenience, ease, and the fact that I listen to lots of trance/house that is only available through MP3 this alone justifies it for me. But I really want to upgrade my speakers to something amazing(Morel Hybrid, Focal K2P, CDT ES, ect...) but am wondering if I am going to play everything through my IPOD is getting that good of a component set even worth it?? I know now with my Infinity Perfects between the IPOD and a CD there really is no noticable difference in Quality. But with a much better speaker will this not be the case anymore?? Will the better speaker bring out the imperfections of the ipod and its mp3/aac files more?? Or will I still benefit from better speakers?? Anyone on here with an SQ car use their IPOD mostly??? thanks

Yes, it's still worth it. The drop off is not that great. Are you using an FM modulator or dooes the Ipod hook directly into the HU?

well right now with my current deck I am just plugging into my aux connection in my car through the ipod aux cable. My installer hardwired it into my deck. With my new deck(DDX812 or AVN6620) I will buy the IPOD hookup to it which connects directly to the headunit and then I can surf ipod through deck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You may be able to use a lossless codec such as FLAC with you iPod... and get perfect CD quality sound.

I'm not sure, as I can't stand iPods... and tend to use other mp3 players only...
