ipod hookups..

hey guys i got an ipod and i was told from a worker at curcit city that u could hook up the ipod to rca cables to the rca connects in the back of my headunit.. that didnt work so i was wonderin what would be best to get..

i heard the fm tuners are not that great and i dont have a tape player for the tape cable to the ipod..

no offense, are you trying to hook it up to the RCA preouts? i would go with either the iPod interface, or the monster FM modulator

I have my ipod hooked up to my premier 860mp, and I just bought an Aux Input adapter for my particular headunit and a (headphone jack to RCA adapter) and it works perfectly.

i got the ipod adapter for my 880prs....have yet to install it tho....i picked it up for $50 shipped on ebay

i dont even have an ipod though lol

Meh sound quality isnt the same and i like to control mine form the touch screen FTW
