What do you guys have your ipod eq set to. I have a kenwood 889. Also does the ipod eq affect your subs.

set it to flat and use an external equalizer or the one built into your HU.

If you want an equalizer on your ipod, download the rockbox firmware. It has a very good 5 band equalizer built into it and sounds much better than any ipod's standard firmware.
