FYI, no updates means no new apps.. DUUHH. I would say it will still be good for a least another year but after that it's done for getting new apps and updates.... Don't you own Apple products anyway you should know this... :-/

DITTO, not to mention jail breaking it opens it up to many other things. I have mine and it still works great. GLWS
