Cedar Rapids, IA, about an hour from the Quad Cities... there's another guy on here from C.R. but that's about it as far as I know...

No setup in my current car, an Infiniti i35. I do have an Alpine 9855 that I'll be using for a while and thinking about a 5 channel amp like the Alpine PDX-5 or something similar. I have a pair of Alpine type-r 12's I may use too, or maybe just one...haven't decided. My first goal is to deaden the car. Any suggestions on a smooth sounding component set, trying to stay away from anything too bright.
