so if u were me would u give the 12 w7 1250 watts rms or would that be too much for it

u prolly r gonna say yes it is too much

or

yeah its ok but just watch the gains //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

tru that i would go with the xxx just cuz the simple fact for the price of 1 w7 you can get 2 xxx and also the folks over at re are very helpfull the jl peeps arnt. you want box plans well you make em then send em in and they will give you a yes or no on it and not tell you what is wrong. i beleive that the xxx has more excursion than the w7 also. id say go with the xxx i love mine. but thats just me personally i dont care for jl that much but some people do id say tyr and listen to some before you buy that would be the best since this system is for you. we cant tell you exactly what will sound best to you. but only what we like

u guys r prolly right about the xxx's compared the w7's i mean if the w7 cant handle over 1000 watts rms and the xxx takes 1500watts rms easily then,

if i had a 12''w7 with 1000wattsrms goin to it(because that is all it can take) and then i had 12''xxx with 1500 watts rms goin to it the xxx, the xxx would prolly kill the w7 in spl

so how do they even compare right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/chix.gif.b7a2c3844cd4b49b8430443da768250e.gif

Both are based on the XBL^2 motor structure, they are very similar in SQ and SPL either one you get you wont be disappointed. I think the Brahmas are a lil cheaper. I got both of the Brahmas for about $300 shipped each from eBay. One was used, one was new, both are Mark I's. (Had to match them) but the newer Mark II's are what you want to get since they are a little bit better.
