inverting 15a

i dont think the question has been answered yet.. is it worth flipping a speaker over and reversing the polarity? how does it make it louder... spl or sq? i only care about sq so if there is a loss of sq id like to know.

it all depends on the subs, enclosure, and car. you have to try all possibilities to find which one you like the best. so there is no direct answer to the question

try one inverted and both inverted, compared to both regular and see which one fits your needs the best.

I have exerimented with this a lot and all are different

yes you can invert in a ported box and i dont' think you'll lose any spl/sq but i could be wrong on the last part

and reversing the polarity will not change the resistance if there's only one sub hooked up to the same channel.....but if there are two and you only invert 1 sub then you will have a new resistance.... but if there are two and you invert both then the resistance will stay the same
