I'm obviously new to this forum but not to Car Audio.
I started with mobile audio before i could even drive and was installing components in cars shortly thereafter.
Like most people, i started off as a basshead and was really into the SPL scene for a while. Then I grew up as I like to say lol.
I'm more into SQ now altho I still like to bump down the block on occasion.
I remember my first audio system that started with an old Panasonic tap deck that actually had preouts that i ran to an old 45x2 Sony Amp that i then ran to some old leftover crossovers that i found that fed the jensen 3" speakers, panasonic 6x9's and a couple of home subs that i wired in isobaric formation in my 84 Cavalier. lol i still laugh at that old setup. It wasn't bass heavy but it was clear. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I now run a Pioneer Premier Dex-P1R(yes I still have it and yes it still works), two Rockford Fosgate amps(600a4 for the inside & 500a2 for the subs), 3 10" RF Power 10's in a sealed box. I plan on getting the Polk Audio SR6500's very soon since I blew out the rest of the inside speakers in my Integra. They were cheap speakers that i got for free so i'm not disappointed in any way from the loss.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, it turned out longer than i thought.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
