i know they make good money. idk if you are talking canadian, but here they make close to 50k with full benifits. i really do enjoy traveling but idk if i wanna do it for a career

yeah canadian. no benfits at all seeing as they are considered self-employed. My work hires every driver as a broker, so they are not technically employees.

i am however an employee. still no benefits, but salary job that pays good, 2+ raises a year. And lots of room for advancement. Our company is expanding fast.

when i say fast i mean, we have doubled our revenue in the time i have been there.(1 YEAR) they have been open for 20+ years, and only now are we really getting big. we are no ups by any means, but we pretty much have the GTA (general toronto area) for ourselves minus the corporations that give super discounts to people that ship 100+ things a day. we just cant compete on that level yet. but i see it coming and hope to be a part of it seeing as i am a sales rep its my responsibility to help make it happen.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

are you talking delivery truck driver? i was talking about driving a big rig across country.

i was also considering moving to toronto. the job market is just not good at all in detroit.

yes i am talking delivery driver. local delivery in the gta. most guys own 5 ton truck with tailgates.

from what i've been reading a CDL license only takes like 4 weeks to get

btw its all commission. drivers make 75% of what the job costs, + fuel which is a percent of what the job is worth.

the faster you are the more you make.

the truck driving i was looking into pays about $800-1000 a week plus gas, and you're on the road like 5-6 days at a time

ahh. we try to make our truck drivers $350+ daily. most make $400+.

best day i have seen is one guy made close to $2000 in a day. had a direct drive shipment to montreal after he did his normal stuff in the morning. the drive to montreal payed him $1500+. (6hour drive each way)

it was a marketing managing firm that supposedly worked with fortune 500 companies. i researched the company and found out that their advancements they claim are bullshit, and you basically are a telemarketer hocking shit and not really doing the job they say you are doing.
