iNTERIOR LIGHTS SHUTING OFF

oK, I was driving down the freeway blasting Throw it Up by lil jon, which by the way is a bass hungry track, and all of a sudden my all my interior lights shut off, dash, gear lights, and HU. I turned the music down for like 15 or 20 seconds and the lights clicked back on. What has happened and what do I need to do to keep this from happening again besides crankin it down.

What is your system? How many watts, and how big is your alt? My lights dim if I'm just sitting some were and I'm only running 800w. Your electrical system may be to blame. Beefing up your alt, or you wire would be a start to fixing this problem....

sounds like typical low voltage.

fix it before it becomes a problem, or dont turn it up that loud. 11v = teh bad

i have 4 Alpine SPS-170a's runnin of my Alpine CDA-9825 HU and 2 sealed 15in Kicker CVR runnin off a BX1000D. I have a 80a alternator. Would doin the big three help out alot with this problem or would a bigger alternator be the only solution, if I dont turn the music down.

the big 3 has done magical things it doesnt hurt to try it first IMO. then worry abotu the alt...
