Interfire Dual voice Subs

I have a pair of Interfire Dual Voice 4 ohms 12's. I have them in a straight sealed box. And they get down pretty good. Just wondering if anybody has used these subs before and if these subs worked better in a ported box vs. sealed. I have them ran a 1 ohm to my Kove Audio ZD2000v
