That's pretty crazy but if you're half way around the world, it's a pointless system. Now if you're 5 feet away with your cell phone to say your computer, good idea. Although I'm sure it has its side effects.

i think what it is, is a universal "link." I.E.- You have something on laptop, so you transfer from laptop->you-> whatever medium that would send it across the world.
