Interchangable ports

What are the pros and cons of an interchangable port? Are they worth doing? I love low bass but need the higher tuning for competitions. I was thinking 32hz for daily and 45hz for competitions. Or should I just compromise and just do like 37hz-38hz for daily/competitions!

Your Explorer peakes at 45Hz you don't want to tune your burp port to that because of rise. You need to tune it to around 42-43Hz.
So if I do an interchangable port I should tune the higher one to 42hz?

I highly recommend using external aero ports. They're extremely easy to change for different tunes and with them being external there's no change in box volume.

I wont have the room to make them external...

Then just take into consideration that when you shorten your ports for a higher tune you'll also be adding to the box volume and in effect changing the tuning.
