i got a 1994 integra ls and im installing a jl 500/1 amp with a kenwood excelon 879 cd player and i was wondering if i would have to get a bigger alternator or a battery

shouldn't need a new battery either, though it wouldn't hurt anything.

make sure to upgrade the stock battery to ground wire though. or, do a complete "magic 3" if you have a dimming problem.

I don't think you could fit a "bigger" battery. Darn little skinny things. You should be OK.

you will be fine. i am running about 2000w in my civic, and am getting some dimming problems.
