insurance?

If you purchase insurance to cover something your shipping and they mess it up (as always), how long does it take to get the money? Is it even worth it?

It's goin' to take a while. It's definately worth it, depending on how much it was worth. I just shipped $200 worth of goods, and **** right I got insurance. I don't have no $200 to give back to the buyer (yes, it was the carrier's fault most likely, but I'm not here sell something to someone, and them not receive what was bought.)

Have you gotten the money back yet. I just sold a JL 500/1 for $230. They broke 1 of the fins off and he said the bottom plate is coming off. So idk if im just going to give him some money back or if i should try to get the insurance i put on it. How long does it usually take to recieve the money?

I know I've tried to get insurance on an item before...They just give you run around after run around...wanting you to produce receipts on what it cost etc...I mean how do you have a receipt on a 5 year old amp you probally bought used? That insurance is a scam to get more money out of you...because there will be enough loop holes that they will never pay.....and also they take no better care of your package even if it has insurance...it is still tossed around or kicked like a football.....I think they kick them extra hard when you write fragile on the package...or handle with care....
