insurance/sr22/license question...

ok, i lost my license and in order to not lose it for another year, i need to get a work permit...but, i have an SR22 on my insurance, so that means that in order to get a work permit, then i need insurance on something, right? or can i just get a work permit without having to get insurance, just so that i dont get suspended for another year?

Well in ohio you have to have it befor you can drive and befor you can get your license back
