funny story.

my sister,who also drives a cavy, almost hit a deer and swerved and damaged her whole right side and the tire & rim tore up.

happened back in Jan/Feb.

Think about it logically. Unless you pay extra to insure aftermarket parts why would they pay to replace them? Would you pay more if you were them?

Since it will probably be totaled out, he should be able to afford another crappy cavalier with enough left over to buy a new hood anyway. Just have to know where to look

In Indiana ,unless there is a clause ,they will repair it back to its current condition.i.e. aftermartket hood. But mine has a clause they will only cover 1000 worth of customization.

You have to claim after market items to have them covered in my state.
I don't how it works under the sea though.

Although the carbon hood looks really stupid on your car they will probably do it if you ask them.

Why?

Cause a carbon fiber hood is cheaper than a new factory hood.
