ok my insurance said i need to get an appraisal on my speakers to add coverage. i dont know of anyone that can do that. does anyone know of a company that does? im in dallas btw

thats retarded, show the insurance company your receipts. My insurance company added coverage without an appraisal or even showing receipts...they just said keep the receipts for everything incase of a claim

If the insurance company didn't specify who the appraisal has to come from go flip a local shop a 20 or two and ask them to write you up a nice appraisal

what insurance company do you have? they are idiots.

there are 2 ways they cant deny paying you if something happens.

1. make sure you have all receipts and proof the stuff was in the car

no receipts make sure you have anything from PP or whatever. hell if you bought from friends then have them write up a quick receipt for you.

2. make sure everything is attatched to the vehicle.

(example) i always bolt my box through the floor. at that point it is considered PART OF THE VEHICLE. anything attatched to the box would be as well.

If it is stuff from egay or paid via paypal, just print off the statement or the auction page. If you paid a shop a few bucks to write something up I am sure they would.

i would switch insurance then because that is shady as hell. when my system was stolen i didnt even have insurance on system and they still covered it.

I have insurance now though but thats due to my taste in products going up drastically since then

Well if you have full coverage, then take pics in with ya or take them out there to show them and see what they say.

Or like others mentioned, go to a shop and flip them a 50 or something.
