installing two amps

I currently have an Alpine M450 to push a sub and I'm looking into a cheap set of components and a cheap amp (Kicker ZX150.2) to power them. The wiring I have in the car now is an 8 gauge kit from Knu. What else do I need to hook up the other amp? Thanks a lot

If it was me, I would upgrade to a 4 ga. dual amp wiring kit and get it over with.

Those usually come with everything you need (except RCA cables and battery terminals).

You can find Kicker on ebay for a good price, they are rated as one of the best.

fromthe picture on the product I'm not sure what kind of power distribution block are they gonna give u. For best results u can keep that 8 gauge for the sub amp and add the 4 gauge through the same root //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ground them to 1 place on the chassis.

What kind or model of components that u're calling "cheap" beware that cheap components usually dont' do the job well and it'll sound really crapy with the worst midbbass ever. So Do urself a favoor and save the money to upgrade later is invest on a decent Components arround 150$ or so. then u can throw in some alpine amp or kicker or whatever amp u like as long as the out put power is more than the RMS ratings on the components and u'll b fine. Over power ur speaker a little more than RMS factory doesnt hurt the speaker as much than having a under poweramp to ur compoents.

by cheap i was thinking the PG rsd's, however, I don't think they'll fit with the limited mounting depth I have in my prelude (pretty much anything I'll have to modify). So you're saying I could leave the sub amp connected to the current 8 gauge kit and simply buy a 4 gauge kit and hook the comp amp up to it separately? Thanks again for the help.

eh sucks. im in ft lauderdale. i appreciate it though man! im just tryin to do this as cheap as possible and once and for all. fitting comps in this prelude is gonna be an event in itself
