Installing Head Unit!!! Ground directly to chassis?

Hello,

Today I received my HU, Pioneer Premier DEH-P600U...

I noted that the ground cable to the unit comes with a terminal ring, So my question is!!

What's better? Ground directly to a metalic piece or chassis or join the cable to the stock ground used by the oem HU?

ive done both with neither having any problems , pick one ...

In my ol' ladys car I did both at once.

In mine, neither... I ran it all the way to the battery since I had to run a power wire all the way up to the fusebox anyways.

So basically the easier the better... I'll just strip and joint the cables.

with the pioneer you might be better grounding it to the chassis because of the ground noise problem. Mine worked either way so do whats the easiest.

usually the stock ground is not quite as good as one you can do yourself but either will work fine
